Letter from the Chair
Dear Delegates,
It is our absolute pleasure to be directing the International Press Corps (IPC) at AUMUN 2023 and we are thoroughly excited to welcome you to the International Press Corps, the world's pillar of free information.
At AUMUN, you will be a part of an incubator for change- a cohort of some of the brightest young minds that our country has to offer. As you delve into ebbs and flows of some of the most urgent global matters, I request you to consider how you’d hope world leaders should respond rather than how they do realistically engage in discourse.
The IPC is unlike any other committee at AUMUN. It is multilayered and requires headstrong individuals with a passion for truth. In the IPC, delegates will be required to hone their public speaking, writing, as well as debate skills. It is indisputably the most holistic committee of them all.
However, don’t let this scare you! Like any other experience, MUN is a dome for learning and forging relationships. My advice to you would be to be completely thorough with your research. Avoid erroneous facts and most importantly, don’t be afraid to speak out -information is power in the IPC.
If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to reach out to the secretariat. We can’t wait to see you all and hope that you have a fruitful time at AUMUN 2023.
